Redbeard History
I worked at Bowling World here in Cookeville, Tenn., for five years while I was obtaining my bachelor’s degree in exercise science and physical wellness from Tennessee Tech University. During my time working in the bowling alley, I held basically every job possible, from mechanic to cashier and everything in between.
After college, I left my job at the bowling alley and obtained my USBC Coaching Level I certification. Next, I completed the Pro Shop training course taught by Randy Stoughton at Kegel Training Center in Lake Wales, Fla., in May 2012.
From there, I completed the Advanced Pro Shop Training Class taught by John Jameson, Mike Luongo and Mo Pinel at Innovative Bowling Products in Jacobus, Pa., in August 2012. After that, I earned my USBC Coaching Bronze certification under the instruction of Pat Costello in Dacula, Ga. After that, I earned my USBC Silver Coaching certification under the instruction of Stephen Padilla.
I currently hold the record for the youngest person to bowl a perfect 300 game here at Bowling World. I have won several league championships and city tournaments, and in 2013, I was high series on the First Place Redbeard Pro Shop Team in the Tennessee State Tournament.
